This was our main action. It is called “A place for support” and it was planned at the beginning as the main artistic action. Together with three actresses we made a performances based on experiences with sextortion women had on their workplaces. We made short drama text where we mixed different stories and made an audio and then played it while the actresses stood with words from the victims, written on paper in different languages that we use in North Macedonia.
Prior Art:
This is my main actions and it is a result from everything that has been done until now. The training, the workshop with actors and NGO, the research (the survey and interviews), the audio stories and the rehearsals at the end.
For me, this was special event, because of the intensity of the emotions of the experiences that victims had and at the end how me and the actresses put them together as a drama text and give it the form that doesn’t victimize anyone. We also shared t-shirts, badges and posters as promo material to the audience. While this was happening some women who were watching also shared experiences with sextortion they had.
