Artistic advocacy is the use of art to raise awareness about social and political issues. It can be used to educate people, inspire them to take action, or simply make them think about these issues in a new way.

There are many different ways to create effective artistic advocacy pieces. Some common strategies include using storytelling, symbolism, humor, and shock value. Artistic advocacy can be used to do more than just raise awareness. It can also be used to inspire people to take action, build community, and create change.

This lesson provides an overview of artistic advocacy and some of the creative strategies that can be used to create effective art that makes a difference. This lesson was delivered by Prince Andrew Ardayfio to Molao Matters of Botswana and Drama Queens of Ghana
